You Knew.

You knew wishes couldn’t come true

Unless you put them into play

He once believed in wishes too

But still his dreams went astray

You knew you were falling too

Though he was so far away

But he would have came to you

Because he loved you in every way

You know you still cross his mind

And have a place within his heart

But did you ever take the time

To let the same feelings start

You knew dreams could become reality

If you wished for them to be

But now they will remain a fantasy

For our dreams we no longer see
