Happy Saturday, artists π Recently I've tried oil pastels and now I enjoy to drawing little figures. At first I was afraid of them being similar to crayons, which I don't like, but these are different somehow. First, they're soft, it's like drawing with cream π¦ π€£ and that texture is interesting and that allows to try different techniques. Second, the blending isn't perfect, but they blend. Overlapping colors are also a way for blending and you need to try them a lot for finding the method that suits you. Finally, I got black paper yesterday! So today I'm into creativeness π I hope my review and the sketch below make you curious and try them. These I own are cheap and I think I'll buy some pro oil pastel in the future.

Ohhh I love pastels! But I hate how messy it is on the hands so I tend to avoid them π this one is pretty though. Is it a mini drawing?
Oh, no, Hanzell. You're talking about soft pastels (something like chalk) and I used oil pastels which are similar to crayons but extra oily. And yes, it is 7cm x 10 cm. Just a sketch π
Ahh then I have soft pastels π but feels like they're both dirty on the hands anywaysss π π π I still prefer crayons somehow
