A little bit of trivia here guys! Did you know that the first ever Philippine made rocket was named "Bongbong I".

It was reportedly launched at Caballo island near Corrigedor in the Manila Bay on March 12, 1972.

So why Bongbong I? Because the rocket was named after the second child and first son of President Marcos, and he is Bongbong Marcos.

This was under the term of President Ferdinand E. Marcos in the 1970s.

It is under the Philippine Navy Project Santa Barbara. A local Rocket Program initiated under the term of President Marcos.
