Rescued Kitten in Jamaica
One Morning, when Justine and her wife driving along to pick up his friend on her house when they hear little kitten stuck in the backyard of an house.
Justine and her wife immediately helped this tiny little ginger and white ball of pluff kitten. She was very very tiny and she was covered in fleas and filthy and one of her eyes was closed.
They bring talla to the nearest vet to check up on her and the vet told them to feed her milk roughly 3 to 4 every hour.
The first time she got her solid food she so tiny and even can fit on a plate.
She actually made herself at home and loves to play in the house but being in rural Jamaica there's no pet stores everywhere so they improvise feather toys for her and she really likes playing it on the beach and chase them around. She was really adobrable cat and even likes to curl up with Justine's big beard.
But the challenging part of adopting her is if she's gonna liked by Karli. She's very big dog and had this ferocious reputation.
But it turns out Karli is a great big sister, they sleep together, they hangout together and they're generally bestfriends. One of the first things Talla noticed was indeed Karli's tail and then she sneak up on her and then pounce on the tail.
Justine and her wife tried to bring talla outside near at the beach they let her out supervised and before they know it she ran up on the nearest big tree. she's definitely a tree dweller.
Tallawah was also a quite big fan of the sea. The first thing they discovered it was on her first 6 weeks old and put her in kayak and she haf a great time.
They also took tallawah on the sea and lo and behold she starting to swim and she seemed quite enjoyed it.
Her name Tallawah is a very common saying in Jamaica "We likkle, but we tallawah" means We're a small nation, but we're strong willed."
So tallawah being small buy determined and a little bit ferocious and they thought it was a best name for her.
Justine and her wife really love her so much. 💖
