In any case, making a course for Damascus, Saul's life changed altogether. Starting now and into the foreseeable future, he would no longer attempt to satisfy God himself. Rather, he would go ahead with the objective of knowing
Christ. "I consider everything a misfortune contrasted with the awe-inspiring significance of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord." Philippians 3:8 (NIV accentuation included). Saul (presently called Paul) had another mission-a mission that stayed consistent in the midst of ever-evolving conditions.
It didn't make a difference whether he was lecturing a group or sitting in a sodden jail.
Paul currently had one objective before which everything in his life bowed. Paul needed to know his Lord.
