Are you in a situation where you are stuck in one place? You wanted to do something about it. You realize you took the wrong path and that you think, that-that you weren't really growing. You're striving yet nothing right is going. You've been there, but you were still on that situation. Or you just came in there, and realized that the previous path you took was much more better. Sounds familiar?
Let me relate this to my situation yesterday.
I did came home. This idea actually came across my mind during my way home. And I had it drafted last night. Our company driver sends me home. Since I live far from the office I was the only one who was left on the vehicle. We were on the road and I am quite pissed off with the flow of the traffic. Since I don't want to let the poor transportation plan in our country let out the beast in me, I just argued all the possibilities why I am in that situation.
Here are the thoughts that came through my mind.
I should have taken the train. Whenever I took the train I always come home right on time. But why didn't I took the train today? "Thats because, the company driver is available and, you don't want that you will save the transportation expenses? You won't signed up for the stupid, record tracing of passengers on the the train! You won't fall in line! And its much safer from the virus on the vehicle. You are saved from the hassle you idiot!" Yep this is what my brain argued! And I couldn't help but agreed with that one.
Riding a train could be a better choice. I can go home immediately and I can spend more time home and think. I still have the option to cook and do other things. Still, this article wouldn't happen if I did.
I should have stayed and sleep on the staff house and go home on the weekend. When the flow of the traffic become more congested this argument came to mind! I should have just stayed at the staff house I wouldn't happen to be in these situation! But I realized then the reason why I wanted to go home. I can't sleep there longer, because my body rejects cold places. And I wouldn't want my roomies to adjust, because I just feel cold. So as much as possible I always wanted to go home. So it wasn't a much more argumentative reason. There where times out of control, we resonate all possible situation as a good option. But in the end after evaluation. It can be good as for the moment but, it can't be later. I won't be irritated by the traffic but I won't have a better sleep. And it won't do me any good for the next day.
Conclusion
It is the same in our every decision in our life. When we find ourselves stuck at one place, we starts to compare and complain and wonder. Eh this one is much better. No that one is better. No this one is. And many more complains. And don't bother to think that you choosed it. Where you are right now, "YOU. CHOOSE. IT." Or you let someone decide for you. Or you play it safe. Its on you. No other than you. Or your part of that, you agreed. Or the situations made you agreed. And what can you do about it?
There were times we find that things aren't getting better, but always be reminded that where ever the path you take, where ever you are right now, stuck, uncertain, don't know what to do, tired of doing it. Remind yourself, why did you choose it. And what was your goal? Are you in a rush? Or you just wanted to be home?
When you spend your time wisely, take the train. Suffer by falling in line, but you'll be home sooner and still can do more things. There is always the fast route, where ever you dream you to be. Hard at first, but they will be worth it.
When you want it to stay comfortable in the now, suffer the consequences later. There is always safe and comfortable, but that will make you delay your way home.
When you find everything consuming your time, think, resonate, argue, reflect, why were you there? And you can create productive thoughts. There is always choices that you choose and suffer, but one thing is for sure, anyone who was along on your way too, they are also thinking. Are they thinking the same? New routes? Detour? Or they think that previous road they take is much better?
There are many choices available in everyday life. Whatever choices we have, and whatever path you take, there will be different challenges you will encounter. And whatever you decide, and you know your way, you'll be home. There is no way you wouldn't! Acknowledge and cherished the moment, learn and see what you can do about it. And one day, you'll know the best routes were the hardest and the thrilling. Hush. Don't Rush. You'll be home! And it is not always congested!
And I came home. Survive the congested road. And had the meal I bought in the nearby fast food chain. Its not super late, but I did slept and had a good night! And now improved the draft I made along my way home yesterday.
Well what a day?! Make something creative out of your misery and boredom.
Thank you for always passing by though my articles doesn't make any sense! Hahaha!
Love you to be bored,
