Life is really good when treated with care! But today, many people think a little bit about how their words and actions affect others. They expect those around them to be kind and to treat them fairly. At the same time, they may not believe that they are making money at someone else's expense.
These people can judge the mistakes of others while apologizing for their serious moral shortcomings. You may be outraged by thefts and rapes in your city. However, they ignore the fact that they themselves are responsible for other mistakes. How is it? They can distort their income to get tax breaks, cheat on clients, roam around at work, or commit adultery or premarital sex. Although they reject religious and racial prejudices when in the minority, they can trample on the rights of others when they gain more power or control.
Many people are like the exceptional nation that preached "peace" but sold more weapons than any other nation. They are like nations that suffered under colonial rule, but after independence they themselves become oppressors.
But one of the oldest guides to life, the Bible, advises against applying any rules other than those which we apply to ourselves. He said: "An unfaithful wave is an abomination to Jehovah." (Prov. 11: 1) “Everyone. . . What men should do against you, you should do against them. "(Mt 7, 12)" Do you only love one another? "... Love does not harm others. (Rom 13: 8,10) But is what the scriptures say really practical in a dishonest world?
Ask yourself: Was it better for mankind to ignore the advice of the Bible? The answer is obviously very obvious. Fraud, corruption, crime and violence make daily life difficult for millions of people. In many places people have to be on guard at all times so as not to be deceived. Business premises must increase prices to compensate for losses due to theft from employees and customers or to cover the cost of increased security. Dishonesty if done in a vague manner and the use of poor quality building materials can lead to serious injury and even death. The mental and emotional damage caused by violating the rights of others is incredible.
While a person may think that they only have to take care of their own interests to survive in this world, their disregard for the rights of others will certainly not improve their relationships with others. This would only add to the discomfort of ignoring the correct principle.
Indeed, those who really care about their neighbors receive huge dividends. What are some of them?
Benefits for you
A great advantage for those who uphold the good principle is personal happiness and contentment. This is in accordance with the words of Jesus Christ: "There is more happiness in giving than in receiving". - Acts 20:35.
You have no doubt seen how this principle works for you. The happiest people are the ones who really care about those around them. You will find them helpful and welcoming. Satisfied with what they have, they do not fight avidly to worry more or irrationally about financial matters. On the other hand, the mean and greedy person is never satisfied with what he has. If he gives up, he does so reluctantly, under pressure, or for some reason. For example, you might want to receive a specific service from the gift recipient. You lose the joy of making others happy by selflessly wasting your time, energy, or resources.
Those who treat others as they would like to be treated often deserve the respect and admiration of their peers. Your actions speak to your conscience - the inner feeling of good and evil inherent in humanity. Isn't the honest and reliable employee preferred over the dishonest, unreliable and lazy employee by employers? Don't people who have no principles also want to deal with people they trust?
Important men and women also respect themselves. You don't have a bad conscience. Your life is free from the fear of being exposed and humiliated as lawless citizens. They like silence because they know their behavior is ridiculous.
An approved relationship with the Creator
More importantly, those who refuse to succumb to the temptation to adopt selfish attitudes can take a clear stand before the Creator, Jehovah God. As they strive to do good and work for the good of others, they follow Jesus' warning. Christ: "Make your suitcases, never spent, an infinite treasure in heaven." where a thief does not approach or devour the ground.
Through a selfless gift, God's servants build a beautiful story with the Most High. This record is like a treasure deposited in heaven. Neither grinder nor rust or anything else can ruin this disc. It is a real treasure because Jehovah God will reward people according to their relationship with him. For example, Jesus referred to those who give for pure reason without paying attention to Jesus Christ: "Your Father, who secretly watches, will reward you."
In addition, God's approved servants are about to receive the greatest gift of all. What's that? Eternal life in a whole new order, where the problems of people living with double standards will be a thing of the past. The Bible tells us, "The gift God gives is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23) And "there are new heavens and a new earth, which we are waiting for according to his promise, and in this righteousness we must keep."
It's actually convenient to treat the people around you the way you want them to treat you. They avoid harming others unnecessarily and instead appeal to their conscience. They maintain happiness, satisfaction and self-respect. Above all, it will help you to maintain a proper principle of maintaining a beautiful relationship with Jehovah God that can last forever.
