The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FCEN) has described India as a terrorist facilitator and money launderer. According to a report released by FCEN, 44 banks in India are involved in money laundering. Questions have also been raised about where the money went and who used it. India's Punjab National Bank, Kotak Mahindra, HDFC Bank, Kanara Bank, Indus land Bank, Bank of Brada are involved in money laundering.
