The 16 december is the victory day of bangladesh.It is a red letter day in the history of bangladesh.It is observed as our victory day as on this day in 1971,we got victory after a nine months bloody battle against pakistan and bangladesh came into being and occupied a place in the world map as an independent nation.After the end of britsh colonial tule in 1947 the then government of pakistan began to treat east pakistan as a colony of west pakistan.They deprived us of our economic and political rights.But under the leadership of bangabandhu sheikh mujibur rahman,a violent mass movement was launched resulting in a landslide victory of the awami league at the election of the national assembly of pakistan in 1970.But the did not hand over the power to the awami league.Then on the fateful night,march 25,1971 the pakistani army caused brutality upon the innocent civilian people....
