Passion To Independence
I could remember one Sunday service in The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria Four Towns Parish.
The service was filled with sweet and glorious melodies.
Happy souls all dancing to the rhythm of the music.
The angelic sofa notes choir, the victorious youth choir too.
There I was trying to blend into what was happening.
Lo and behold the service was over
And I’m walking towards the youth choir stand
Where my siblings were taking part in dishing the glorious sounds earlier.
From nowhere, the Choir Director approaches me
He says he would love to talk to me.
Okay. That was my response.
Then I sat down and waited for the tall, big-haired, and large-handed Choir director to come to say whatever he wants to say so I can have my peace and thoughts.
Waited for a few minutes.
Suddenly, here he comes
I felt my brain getting busy.
We spoke about a few things would I say introductions?
