Stewardship - A vital attribute into the realm of God's favour for covenant wealth.1 corinthian.4:1-2.
Dearly beloved,we are in the season of celebration.we are celebrating the birth of Jesus.
It's a season that connects us to the covenant wealth of God.prophetically the wise men brought gifts to Jesus(gold,frankinscence and myrth). These gifts talk about the covenant wealth of God and also talks about the dimension of his calling(kingship and priesthood).
God will not entrust this to us until he has proof our stewardship. Kingdom wealth answers to faithful stewards.
Faithful stewards are those that God has found faithful to entrust kingdom resources(wealth) to.
When you are not faithful in kingdom investment like your vows,titthe,seed faith,offerings etc,you cannot enjoy this covenant wealth of God.
Morealso,those who cheat on their brother or sister,cheat in business,take undue advantage of others when it has to do with finances,capital on their weaknesses and ignorant to steal from their resources are not qualified for the financial prosperity of God's covenant wealth promise.
Yes,you may say that you are smart,but dearly beloved,you have lost out from the major promise of God's covenant wealth.
1 corinthians.4:1-2.
Let a man so account of us,as of the ministers of Christ,and 'stewards' of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in a stewards,that a man be found faithful.
God sees us as stewards of mysteries of God. Tithing,vows,seed sacrifices are mysteries that yeild bountiful harvest. So as stewards,it is expected of us to be faithful in this aspect.
Hebrew.13:5 ESV says keep your heart free from the love of money,and be content with what you have,for he has said that he will never leave you nor forsake you.
This scripture is not telling us that money is not good,please don't misunderstand me. In other translation it uses the word coverteousness. Means to covert what belong to another.that is cheating like I said earlier. A lot of stewards has failed by virtue of their love for money.when God blesses them,they are not committed anymore to God by their covenant giving. Beloved this the major set back from the covenant wealth of God.
I pray for us,as we celebrate his birth,be a faithful kingdom steward.Give to God his portion and God's favour will come on you for the covenant wealth promise of God.shalom.keep shining in Glory and kinging in victory.
