Taste real little treats this fall - dried mulberry balls and dates! In addition to enjoying their natural sweetness, you will provide your body with healthy nutrients and be full of energy.
Instead of buying ready-made desserts full of sugar and other unhealthy additives, make green dumplings this summer from dried mulberries and dates.
In addition to really enjoying their natural sweetness and exceptional taste, you will provide your body with important antioxidants. And not only that - these balls will give you a lot of energy!
You don't even have to turn on the oven to prepare them. All you need are just 5 ingredients and 5 minutes to prepare and mix everything in many practitioners or mixers. The perfect recipe for those who lack time!
In addition to ultra-healthy mulberries, these balls also contain dates, sunflower seeds and oatmeal. This means that they contain only healthy ingredients, healthy carbohydrates and proteins, and healthy fats.
They are suitable for vegans and vegetarians, they are gluten free, making them great for anyone avoiding this ingredient in a wide range.
You can take them everywhere with you, to work, travel, walks ... as a healthy snack or dessert to boost your energy.
Small bombs full of antioxidants
You can also drain mulberry or mulberry fruit yourself or buy it in health food stores (usually white mulberry).
Did you know that mulberry fruits are high in vitamin C, iron and calcium, among others, and dates are rich in magnesium, calcium, iron and phosphorus? Thanks to this fruit duo and healthy sunflower seeds, these balls turn into real energy bombs and a treasure trove of antioxidants.
Of course, if you don’t have dried dates, feel free to use other dried fruits like apricots or figs. Also, if you don’t have dried mulberries on hand, just double the amount of dates and sunflower seeds.
You can also use almonds or other nuts or grated coconut instead of sunflower seeds.
Raw mulberry and date ball
Ingredients (about 10 balls):
1 cup dried mulberries (about 120 g).
10 dates (80 g).
0.5 cup sunflower seeds (70 g).
1/4 cup oatmeal (20 g).
1 teaspoon vanilla.
pinch of Himalayan salt (optional).
Preparation:
Put all the ingredients except the date and vanilla extract in a multi-practice and stir for 10-20 seconds.
Then add the dates and vanilla and mix a little more. If the mixture is too dry, add a few more dates.
1 tablespoon of the mixture will suffice to make each ball. Form each ball between your palms.
Finally, you can roll the balls into coconut, green cocoa, match powder or cinnamon, depending on what you like best. Transfer them to the refrigerator to cool well.
