Blessed in more ways than one

We are not trying to achieve peace with God. We already have peace with God because we are justified by faith through our Lord Jesus Christ. This peace with God gives us the peace of God that protects our hearts and minds (see Philippians 4: 7). Then the peace of God in us will be translated into the peace of God outside of us - in any of our external circumstances.

First, we will realize that what would normally cause us great care and anxiety will no longer exist. Second, not only will everything look good, but we will be blessed in many ways. It happens when Jesus, the Prince of Peace, is our peace.

A member of the Church, though suffering from cancer, rejoiced in the peace of God, knowing that He was her physician. She later received confirmation from two different doctors that she had been completely cured of the cancer. In addition to receiving the blessing of a complete cure, she also received a $20,000 critical illness claim from her insurance company!

Another member of the church, hearing the news of her decline, referred the matter to God, believing that He would settle everything for her, especially because of the loss of ordinary income. Shortly afterwards, she received a reduction package - a large five-figure sum. Within days of downsizing, she received calls from her industry and offered her a job, two of which were jobs at well-known multinational corporations.

At that time, she had not yet started looking for a job, so the calls were unexpected but welcome. Eventually, she decided to work for one of the MNCs - a dream come true - with a salary 30 percent higher than the previous one! When she simply prayed, "Abba Father, I trust You to take care of me," and rested in His love and peace, she was richly blessed.

Dear ones, because Jesus is your peace, you are blessed in many ways. Your soul will prosper. Your health will improve. Your finances will prosper. Your loved ones will be taken care of. Your relationship will flourish. You will enjoy the favor of God. All because you have a Prince of Peace!
