Telegram

Telegraphy is a method of sending a written message or letter over a long distance, usually by wire, without sending the original text. Radio is used to transmit messages in radio telegraphy or wireless telegraphy. Modern forms of information and data such as fax, e-mail, computer network, etc. also belong to telegraphy as a whole. (Telegraph is a device of telegraphy that receives or transmits messages over long distances.) Wireless telegraphy is called CW. CW is an acronym for Continuous Wave.
