Review
This book is very well-written with a lot of descriptive writing. However, to a point, it's a bit of a drag for me. The location was mostly based in Afghanistan and a lot of the theme was local to this country. As it was largely unfamiliar with me, I get to learn something about the country. It was somewhat depressing. It touched a bit on religion. I may read it again and see if I might change my mind.
