I was so fascinated by the movie that I couldn't write without it. Although I never wrote a review. Here Akshay Khanna plays the role of Defense Lawyer. At the beginning of the movie he gave a lecture on his published book entitled "Ethics of Criminal Defense" for lawyers. He explains the three rules described in his book. Those are:

Rule 1: That law is not equal to justice. Justice is an Ideal. Law is a tool to get there. Sometimes ..

Although the law is one of the means to ensure justice, many times it does not guarantee justice! Sometimes the law itself can stand in the way of justice. That is why St. Augustine said, An unjust law is no law at all.

Rule 2: You stop paying attention when you start writing.

This rule is about the importance of listening carefully to the witness for cross-examination. And more applicable to lawyers.

Rule 3: Never fall in love with the law. It is a jealous mistress. And one day it will disappoint you.

The law sometimes cannot ensure justice or stand in the way of justice itself. Then we have to be disappointed. That's why he forbade lawyers in particular to fall in love with the law.

These three rules, among other things, are the focus of this movie.

Story: Legal Fiction This movie depicts various aspects of a rape case which can be considered as a reflection of a contemporary event. Here is a clear picture of how a rape victim has to go through the procedure.

Media Trial: A beautiful presentation on how media trials can hinder justice and how the general public can influence the judicial minds of judges with the slogan Hang the rapist / Hang the murderer through the streets / social media.

Lawyers' embarrassment: Defending any accused person is a lawyer's job and the accused has the right to hire a lawyer to prove his innocence. But due to the media trial, the public was embarrassed when a lawyer took a sensitive case. When such a case was fought, the lawyer also started calling him a criminal. But in the interest of justice, there should be a lawyer for the accused. Even if someone does not want to fight the case, the state has to appoint a lawyer for the accused. Its purpose is to ensure justice and to ensure that the accused is not discriminated against. The significance of this becomes even clearer when an innocent person is convicted and convicted of not having a lawyer or not having a good lawyer and is imprisoned or hanged without guilt.

Realistic: I would put this movie above the well-rated Hindi legal movies like "Pink" and "Shahid" because it emphasizes reality over emotional issues and hearing, interrogation, argument or court decoration, environment and real court proceedings of lawyers and court attitudes. Attempts have been made to keep it very close. Its IDM rating is 8.1

Month vs. Court: Here you will find an example of how the court's impact on the independent and impartial judicial mindset of the public can be affected by the public's face to court and the resulting disruption of justice.

The reason for writing this movie review is to create interest in law-courts, justice, legal philosophy, etc., and to make a small effort to get the right message across to the general public by studying further.
