What Islam Says...

Bathing is another way to achieve cleanliness and purity. Holiness is one of the parts of faith. In the present changed life, the social and cultural life of the people has also changed.

In the touch of modern age, there is a tendency among people to take a bath in the bathroom naked. At present it has taken a massive shape among the people.

But what does Islam say, whether it is possible to take aju or take a bath naked at all.

From the point of view of Islam, it should be said that one should not bathe naked in the bathroom unless absolutely necessary. This has been discouraged in the hadith. That is why we should all avoid it.

It has been narrated in the hadith that Allah is more deserving of shame than human beings. So it is best not to be completely naked while taking a bath.

It is narrated on the authority of Mu'awiyah bin Haida (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once said, 'Always guard your private parts from others except your wife.' I said, 'O Allah! Messenger! If a person is alone somewhere! (Should it still be covered?). ’He said,‘ Of course, because Allah should be more ashamed. ’(Tirmidhi, Hadith: 269)

However, if there is no possibility of seeing someone else, then it is permissible to take a bath naked in the bathroom or bathroom if necessary. It is important to have a wall around the bathroom. If there is no roof, there is no problem. However, it is inappropriate to take a bath in this way without the need.

পরিষ্কার-পরিছন্নতা, পবিত্রতা অর্জনের অন্য উপায় হচ্ছে গোসল। পবিত্রতা ঈমানের অন্যতম একটি অঙ্গ। বর্তমান পরিবর্তিত জীবনে মানুষের সমাজিক, সাংস্কৃতিক জীবনেও পরিবর্তনের ছোয়া লেগেছে।

আধুনিক যুগের ছোয়ায় এসে মানুষের মধ্যে দেখা গেছে বাথরুমে বিবস্ত্র হয়ে গোসল করার প্রবণতা। বর্তমানে এটি মানুষের মধ্যে ব্যাপক আকার ধারণ করেছে।

কিন্তু ইসলাম কি বলে, আদো কি বিবস্ত্র হয়ে অজু বা গোসল করা যায় কিনা।

এ বিষয়ে ইসলামের দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি থেকে বলা যায়, একান্ত প্রয়োজন ছাড়া বাথরুমে বিবস্ত্র হয়ে গোসল করা উচিত নয়। এ বিষয়ে হাদিসে অনুৎসাহিত করা হয়েছে। যে কারণে আমাদের সকলকে পরিহার করা উচিত।

হাদীস শরীফে এসেছে, লজ্জা করার ব্যপারে মানুষের চেয়ে আল্লাহ তাআলাই বেশি হকদার। তাই গোসলের সময় পুরোপুরি উলঙ্গ হয়ে যাওয়া অনুত্তম।

এক হাদিসে বলা হয়েছে, মুয়াবিয়া বিন হাইদা (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত, একবার রাসুলুল্লাহ (সা.) ইরশাদ করেছেন, ‘তুমি তোমার স্ত্রী ছাড়া অন্যদের কাছ থেকে তোমার লজ্জাস্থান সর্বদা হেফাজত করো (অর্থাৎ ঢেকে রাখো)।’ আমি বললাম, ‘হে আল্লাহর রাসুল! যদি কোনো ব্যক্তি কোথাও একাকী থাকে! (তখনো কি তা ঢেকে রাখতে হবে?)।’ তিনি বলেন, ‘অবশ্যই, কেননা আল্লাহকে অধিক লজ্জা করা উচিত।’ (তিরমিজি, হাদিস : ২৭৬৯)

তবে যদি অন্য কারো দেখার সম্ভাবনা না থাকে তাহলে প্রয়োজনে পাকা গোসল খানায় বা বাথরুমে বিবস্ত্র অবস্থায় গোসল করা জায়েজ। গোসলখানায় চতুষ্পার্শ্বে দেওয়াল থাকা জরুরি। ছাদ না থাকলে সমস্যা নেই। তবে প্রয়োজন ছাড়া এভাবে গোসল করা অনুচিত।
