Today I am going to share a historical place whose name many of us do not know. This historic place is " Maya Nagar Tikalah " .
In the Maya language, the word ‘tikal’ means the place of the voice. Formed in the deep rainforests of Guatemala, Central America, Maya Nagar Tikal covers an area of about 6 square miles. It is the largest and oldest settlement of the vast Maya civilization. In the 6th-7th century AD, Tikal was built with about 300 temples, palaces, main courtyards, houses and playgrounds. At that time it was one of the political, economic and religious centers of the Maya civilization. It was covered with rainforests for thousands of years after the Maya left the city of Tikal. In 1847, at the initiative of the Spanish government, it came out of the rainforest. The Guatemalan government has developed a 220-square-mile rainforest around Tikal as a national park. In 1989, UNESCO declared this magnificent archeological site in Guatemala a Human Heritage Site.
