Public proposal is becoming quite popular in our society today. In fact, it has become the new normal. Most women feel their engagement is incomplete without a public proposal. It's like there's a price tag attached to it. You see females getting upset because their intended husbands chose to propose in private. It makes you wonder what the fuss is all about.

While it is the beginning of a lot of successful marriages, it has also been the end of many relationships. Many men have been left kneeling and rejected. Others left heartbroken even before they finished saying the words. Some women do accept the ring only to give it back later because they wanted to save face. There're also those who feel pressured because of the public eyes and say yes, only to regret it later.
