Today will be the BIG DAY which is called World Teacher's Day. October 5, the occasion for teachers to pay homage to their enormous responsibility in their chosen profession despite their difficult working conditions, few sources of additional knowledge, teaching materials, equipment to produce modules especially today that new normal entrance and a small salary. It is also a recognition of their continued leadership and development of their students to become responsible and productive citizens of the country.
Teacher, a word but very important. There is no engineer, doctor, lawyer, pilot, and next to you without a brave teacher like them. The teacher awakens a naive student in the world, from a teacher we learned what we are really good at this world. Become a guide, caregiver, friend, second parent to a person who will never be forgotten. The teacher first learns to write, the teacher first learns to pronounce words correctly. The teacher is the guide to the dreams you want to achieve. The second parent, that's what our teachers are called. Gives advice, gets angry when we do something wrong but does not give up on everything even when we want to. Heroes, that is what I call teachers because no one can succeed in a field without the help of a teacher. They are the instrument of success that every student achieves. Teachers who care about students and do not lack in preaching. Teachers draw on history, thousands of faces of modern times.
I had a lot of experience when I was a student where they shaped my personality or whatever I have achieved today.
As a student before, I can say this stage is difficult and fun, it is difficult because you will experience not sleeping for a few nights because of a series of projects you have to finish on time, review for upcoming exams, and more if there is reporting at least what subject. You will also experience having a teacher who is very rude because of your laziness, sometimes reprimanding you or making a mess in the classroom and most of all it is hard to accept that you will fail in a subject. Of course, you will not miss the various techniques to copy the answer of your seatmate, your neck will belong just to see the answer of others.
It's fun because you have a lot of new acquaintances, especially if your school activity is grouping, there is already your bonding with each other as a group, laughing at the same time, annoyed especially if you have a group that does not follow the instruction or reprimands, and new inspiration even as long as you just think or talk is okay. And most of all, sometimes we fool our parents. You always have a school project to pay or even if you have something, you still increase the amount so that you can earn money.
It is no joke to be a teacher. You have so much to sacrifice for the sake of your profession.
There are teachers, especially in public schools, who endure hunger just to use snack time to make instructional materials that they will use in teaching.
If you notice that most of the teachers are old girls / young men because they no longer have time in love life, they just focus on school activities, or else they prefer not to get married so that they can give their whole life to teaching.
Sometimes it is almost midnight when the teachers go to sleep. Because of recording your scores and because of doing his teaching needs the next day just so you can better understand what he will teach. But, despite their nightly vigil, they still wake up early just to go to school without you noticing the drowsiness in their eyes.
Even when teachers are at home, their brains are still at work or school, instead of resting at home or giving time to their families, they are still working on what they will use to teach or make lesson plans.
What is more painful is that they have almost no time to teach their own children because of the number of reports that teachers have to complete.
So I salute the teachers for all their sacrifices just to give the knowledge that the students want. And for teachers, let us not stop inspiring young people. You are the parents' helper in shaping their children. Without you, people will not prosper.
