I notice here among us that many die of a heart attack. A heart attack is one of the Silent Killer. This is what happens when blood cannot enter another part of the heart. Part of the heart muscle is damaged and begins to die. When the affected part of the heart is large enough, its ability to send blood to other parts of the body is severely limited. It can be fatal. It is very important to seek help as soon as possible for a heart attack.

  • Chest discomfort. Most heart attacks have discomfort in the middle part of the chest that lasts more than a few minutes or disappears and returns. It may feel like uncomfortable pressure, compression, fullness, or pain.

  • Discomfort in other parts of the upper body. Possible symptoms include pain or discomfort, in one or both arms, back, neck, jaw, or abdomen.

  • Shortness of breath with or without chest pain.

  • Others, symptoms include cold sweating, nausea, or imbalance.

  • The main symptom of a heart attack is tightness or pain in the chest that spreads to the neck, jaw, or back. According to doctors, some patients have a heart attack even though their only ear or arm is hurting them, while others are just vomiting and dizzy.

Risk Factors

Everyone can be affected by a heart attack. However, various factors increase the likelihood of developing this condition. This includes the following:

  • Aging. People over the age of 30-60 are more likely to have a heart attack. This is because the muscles and nerves of their heart become more fragile and hard.

  • Being a man. According to records, more men have heart attacks than women. It is believed that this is because men often have more vices, such as alcohol and smoking.

  • Having a family history of the condition. The likelihood of having a heart attack may also increase if your family has a history of heart disease or cardiovascular disease. This means that having a heart attack is already in your race and can be triggered, especially if your lifestyle is not healthy.

  • Not having a healthy lifestyle. If a person does not have a healthy lifestyle, he or she may have a heart attack. Some of the factors that increase the likelihood of developing this condition are smoking, alcohol consumption, obesity, lack of exercise, and having too much cholesterol in the body. Having a healthy lifestyle can reduce the likelihood of having a heart attack.

However, factors such as age, gender, race, and family history cannot be changed or prevented. If any of these immutable factors are linked to you, it is suggested that you have a stronger heart and body.
