Playtime

Good morning. I hope that everyone is safe and happy today. I was not able to write any article yesterday. But today while playing with my daughter I decided to create one for her.

Whenever we play she always asks me "mom I want a baby brother". She's my only child. She doesn't have any playmate in the house. And due to Covid we can't go out and play with other kids. She likes playing with others. She wants to make friends with everyone. She's always smiling and laughing while playing.

Unfortunately, I can't be pregnant right now because I have hyperthyroidism. We need to cure this first before we can have a new baby again. I always try to explain this to her and she understands but maybe she can't help it and still keeps on asking for a new baby brother or sister.

Hyperthyroidism, also known as overactive thyroid, can speed up your metabolism and cause unpleasant symptoms. It is when your thyroid - the butterfly-shaped gland at the bottom of your neck, just above your collarbone - makes too much of a hormone called thyroxine.

Your thyroid controls things like how fast your heart beats and how quickly you burn calories. It releases hormones to control your metabolism (all the things your body does to turn food into energy and keep you going)

I'm still under medication right now. And we pray for immediate healing so that this cute girl can have a playmate soon.
