It's been 3 years since the church bells sang their sad song for you... In my village, as in all traditional Portuguese villages, the church bells "cry" when someone from the village dies 3 year ago they "cried" for Emanuel, my eldest son best friend. My son called me even before the bells began to "sing". He got a call from another friend. The urgency in his voice: " Mom, go outside, they say Emanuel is dead but I don't want to believe it" It was true. A stupid car accident, nothing much, the car wasn't so bad... But his neck was broken... I cried all day... The woman that never cries couldn't stop crying This isn't supposed to be a sad post. Just a post to honor the young man that wanted to change the World He always said he was immortal. He was right. His memory lives forever in the hearts of the ones that will Always LOVE him See you soon Warrior Emanuel ❤️ In the photo my son in green t-shirt and Emanuel

That's heartbreaking. 💔 But as you said Mar his legacy lives on. Even he left, he still remembered by many.
It's sad to an beautiful and young man like him leaving this world a bit to early, in my opinion! Probably now he is an angel in God's kingdom!
These are the things we don't want to ever happen. I send you a hug. Especially to your child, losing a friend at a young age is a difficult trauma to overcome
Your post reminds me of this one: https://noise.cash/post/lrxj65qj . Death takes something irreplaceable from those of us left living. But it can’t take away our memories!
