There's one more Shining Star in the sky ✨😥 Mr. António died around 5 am My friend Filomena called me around midnight, crying in dispair, she was staying there at night, taking care of him. But we all knew the time was coming, we talked about it yesterday. I know, she knows... But that doesn't stop the pain I drove there immediately, not because I could stop death, but because... I needed it, saying goodbye is so important. And she needed me. Just like I needed her when my uncle died, when Cristina died... Together we woke his wife and daughter. Just for 1 night they were staying in the daughter house because they've been taking care of him all week, almost with no sleep at all. It's very hard to tell someone that death is coming. Even though they knew, the doctors had told them just 2 days ago, it was just a matter of time António took his last breath surrounded by his loving wife and daughter...and by us, caretakers... Taking care of elderly people is heartbreaking, we do our best, get attached, give our heart. But in the end we're there just to help them leave This is the third time I see/feel someone leave.... It's... scary/magical/intense ... Everyone was crying... again, why can't I cry???!!! Where did my tears go??

Sorry to hear that. There are times that we feel sad but unable to cry because of we're done. We used to cry a lot that's why we can't cry at some time
My condolences sister, death is really painful because parting is very difficult Marisa Mercy for him my dear
Your tears aren’t shed by your eyes, but by your heart.
