Philippines is starting to crumble. Phil health interim reimbursement mechanism won't last long. People that needs dialysis treatment but doesn't have enough money are helped by the interim reimbursement mechanism this mechanism won't last long at all, In this pandemic our country can't really last long if this keeps up. People that lives in slums can't survive, They can't earn money because they can't go to work. Most of the people that lives in slums are malnourished they can't eat enough food caused by poverty, So people like them are being helped financially in this time of pandemic by what we called "ayuda"(In English Help) but not all people can get this kind of help because the "ayuda" is limited, its not unlimited so mostly that didn't get the "ayuda" will either die because of hunger or killed by disease. And some of the "barangay"(second smallest administration division in the Philippines.) Officials are taking advantage of the "ayuda" they're prioritizing their family and acquaintances in getting this "ayuda" which is really unfair.
People can't earn money so they're forced to do illegal things, they have no choice die in hunger or live without dignity, they say money can't buy happines but it can fill their belly. Even in this pandemic there are people that still do illegal things for a living like selling drugs. If there's no poverty this world might turn in to a peaceful one; no wars, no drugs and no crimes.
Many people lost their homes and some got traumatized by the magnitude 6.6 earthquake. They was horrified traumatized and some even died. I wish i can do something for them but i can't, What can a penniless kid do? All i can do is pray for them, pray for this country and pray for the world.
Even in this pandemic the rivalry between Philippines and china doesn't stop. China seeking for territories, they can't seem to give up the west Philippines sea. The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Thursday (August 20) said it has lodged another diplomatic protest against China.
In a statement, DFA said the it lodged a diplomatic protest over the Chinese Coast Guard's illegal confiscation of Filipino fishermen's fish aggregating devices (payaos) in Bajo de Masinloc in May.
"The Philippines also resolutely objected to China’s continuing illicit issuances of radio challenges [to] Philippine aircraft conducting legitimate regular maritime patrols in the West Philippine Sea," the DFA added.
