COVID-19 is a disease caused by a new strain of coronavirus. 'CO' stands for corona, 'VI' for virus, and 'D' for disease. Formerly, this disease was referred to as '2019 novel coronavirus' or '2019-nCoV.'

Every day hundred or thousands of people gets infected by this new disease. The positivity of this disease rise and so does conspiracies. In this global pandemic conspiracy theories spreads rapidly more and more people getting dragged in these topics.

Now let's talk about these two conspiracy that is wide and known from the internet.

5G Conspiracy

Scientists and researchers were working and continues to work to find who's the culprit in this virus outbreak.

Many People say that the culprit of this pandemic is a Bat that was getting sold off the market in Wuhan. But some claims the 5G technology is to blame.

One of the first versions of the theory claims that it wasn't coincidence that the 5g trialled in Wuhan where the pandemic began. Others insist that the 5G radiation makes your immune system weaker thus making people more vulnerable to virus. Other versions of this theory claims that corona virus crisis was created to keep people at home while 5G engineers install the technology everywhere.

COVID-19 escaped from a Chinese Lab

"COVID-19 escaped from a chinese lab" this rumor that spread on the internet like a wildfire. China has been studying Corona Virus for a long time, along with other nasty virus. This conspiracy came to life because Wuhan has the China's only biosafety level 4 laboratory where they research different virus including corona virus and because Donald Trump himself believes the theory. There are maps that show how close the laboratory is to the wuhan wet market.

A level 4 laboratory are used for diagnostic work and research on easily transmitted pathogens which can cause fatal disease.
