Winning Has No Loyalty To Anybody

Hi Everyone!

Winning has no loyalty to you, it has no loyalty to me, it has no loyalty to anybody. How many times you've heard it? "It's not fair" it's not supposed to be fair, it's not supposed to be fair winning is not supposed to be fair life is not fair there's nothing that's going to guarantee you that win, but the only thing that's going to guarantee you that loss is if you don't get in this race. Winning doesn't care about you, winning will lift you up and then slap you back down again.

Winning requires you to be different and different scares people, so if you're worried about what others will say the long-term effects of the sacrifices you make the sleep you lose your family being angry I can't help you with that. There's nothing quote typical about lifestyle and choices you have to make winning is inside all of us, but for most that are where it will stay trapped under a lifetime of fear and worry and doubt the race to greatness has no rules to protect your nothing says, you're going to lose.

Nothing says, you're not going to get hurt there's no guarantee it'll be fair most likely it will not be fair. You'll lose at the buzzer you lose to someone who didn't work as hard as you did you'll lose on a bad call or a bad place someone else will get the job a pandemic will wipe out your season your bank account your career yet the prize at the end of that race remains so compelling so addictive so gorgeous.

We keep running and stumbling and sacrificing and competing to catch it, everything that I've done there's always been a little fear and the fear is what allows us to be like "you know what?" I'm going to throw myself over the ledge, I'm going to do this but I do not doubt what the end result is going to be.

You're not a manager of your life, you're a creator of your life or you wouldn't be in this room. how do you create your life? you get hungry for something, don't you? If you have any interest in doing something extraordinary if you have any interest in performing better than other people if you have any interest in doing something that will be remembered.

The only way that you're going to be able to push past the mountain of obstacles that are going to try to stop you are to have a maniacal focus to know exactly what you want to have clarity of purpose. When you have that and you think about exactly, how you're going to make it happen and you tie your identity to it. Then you've got a chance because then, my friends when that obstacle comes before you.

You will muster the force that you need to destroy that obstacle because they will not go quietly you got to have inner strength for this fight. It's not your outer strength that the devil defines come hell or high water strength do you have the courage to stand there, though the storms keep raising and you stand there and say, I've come too far to turn around.
