Committed To Success
Are you committed? Because without commitment, nothing happens. If you're not committed, you're not going to make it. You have to be committed through the storm and the rain and the heartache and the pain and the disappointment or you're not going to make it. It's a commitment. It's not a feeling.
Your commitments have nothing to do with your feelings. You do it because you're supposed to. I was studying while they were shooting hoops. I was studying while they were playing games and sitting around eating and joking in the restaurant. I was studying. You can't get out of something.
Something you are unwilling to put into it Everything must be put into it. Everything, including your mind, energy, effort, discipline, and tenacity. Nothing is going to jump out of the fire if you don't throw something in there. It's not going to happen.
You have to invest in what you want because anyone can dream it, but you won't see it until you're willing to be committed to it. I've never met anyone who became incredibly successful in any area of their life without first having suffered, sweated it out, sacrificed, kept their focus, fought to tears, and gone through trials and tests.
Do you believe anything is important enough to fight for, sweat for, and work for? An uncommitted life isn't worth living. Why? The people that make a commitment to their lives, the people that make a commitment to their customers, the people that make a commitment to their families, to their Relationships are the people who have the most influence in our lives.
When we put ourselves in a situation where we say, "We're going to do it," it puts us in another zone where the universe responds to us. You see, the universe responds to the man or woman that refuses to be denied because that's your commitment, that business that you want, that book you want to write, that dream that you have.
You are controlling your destiny. It's that power to create them and manifest them. That's available to you, but you've got to be willing to stand there and face disappointment. You must be prepared to stand there and face disappointment.
You must be willing to face disappointment. Feel lonely, doubt yourself, sometimes be rejected again and again and again, become bankrupt if necessary, and refuse to turn around until life gives it up. Nothing can stand in the way of a person who is that dedicated.
