A space for everyone
Let me paint you a picture. You open up social media and begin scrolling — within 45 seconds you have seen posts on cars, memes, architecture, and fitness. It’s a complete mess, so you begin to wonder whether there is a social media that allows you to focus on a specific interest at a time, instead of having it all jumbled up. Well, if that seems like something you have gone through before, then Uhive is the space for you.

What is a space?
A space is essentially a personal page. Think of it like a profile in any other social media.
However, unlike other social media platforms, where users are restricted to solely one space (profile) per account, at Uhive, we prefer to give users more freedom to create, so users are able to publish and own a grand total of one free space, in every interest, so 26 in total.
What can I do within a space?
The options of what you are able to do are infinite. After all, you are the creator of your own space, and therefore have the power to do as you please. So if you are used to the creation process of other social media platforms, then you will be happy to know that we have kept that mostly unchanged, apart from some positive changes.
One of the many positive and unprecedented features on Uhive, is that users are able to create content, whilst also being given the freedom to express themselves, without the restrictions seen on other social media platforms. Instead, Uhive has a Decentralized Moderation (DeMo) in place, where users are given the opportunity to moderate and curate the content to which they’d like to see and engage with.
Which ensures that the guidelines implemented by Uhive, to keep its users safe within the application are not breached.
Is a space worth anything?
Absolutely. In fact, that is one of the fascinating things about Uhive — every space can be an NFT, so every space is worth something to someone, at the very least. Minted spaces can be sold via their NFT tokens through Uhive’s upcoming Marketplace, allowing the space creator to put it for sale at any time. Users on Uhive can truly own their space’s NFT, because they contain a unique token address specific to their space’s location, number of followers, content, badges, and rewards. Once the space’s NFT token is minted, the owner of the space can request to transfer it to their own Ethereum wallet for safe keeping, or sell it by transferring it to another user’s wallet. Recipients of the NFT will be able to claim the space by transferring the token to their own Uhive wallet address. A Space’s value can be determined by their location in Uhive’s universe, levels of engagement, amount of content, and more.
