Probably everyone knows that slavery was common in ancient times. But the slave owners treated the slaves like dogs. They played a kind of game with slaves where death was the end result. And the kings enjoyed watching them. Bets were also placed on them. While this game was a means of entertainment for the slave owners, it was a sure death for the slaves. Usually these are highlighted in the series.
Spartacus, who appeared as a hero in the pages of history, was basically a Roman slave. The background of the series was from 63 to 71 BC. The young Spartacus got a job in the Roman army because of his strong build. But he was later expelled from the army. The robbers then joined the group
He was later captured by Roman troops. Spartacus was then taken to a slave market. In Rome, powerful slaves were selected and trained in various martial arts to become gladiators. These gladiators were used in wrestling in various parts of Rome. In that brutal sport, gladiators were forced to kill other gladiators in self-defense. The only surviving gladiator at the end of the game was declared the winner. The civilized citizens of Rome enjoyed this brutality as a means of entertainment. Spartacus also caught the eye of a gladiator broker. That broker buys Spartacus. Then at the end of the training Spartacus became a gladiator fighter.
He killed many soldiers on the battlefield, but for the sake of this entertainment this killing seemed immoral to him. The fire of discontent and rebellion was burning inside him. But he knew very well that there would be no gain in revolting against the Roman dictatorship.
He then tried hard to unite these warriors and then the Roman Rebellion started. After losing one Roman army after another, the confidence of the slaves became stronger.
