Let's start with the electron-proton.

Almost everyone who knows more or less science knows that the charge of protons is positive and the charge of electrons is negative.

Today we will see what is meant by these, what is the secret inside.

In a word, no one really knows what a charge is. Nobody knows what it actually is. But there is no harm in that. Although we do not know the true nature of the charge, we have no problem explaining the facts related to the charge.

Suppose, charge has not yet been discovered in this world. Someone has just discovered an electron.

One day he noticed an amazing thing and that is: if an electron is driven perpendicular to the direction of the magnetic field through a magnetic field, it feels a force in a particular direction. Suppose an electron feels a force on the surface of the earth, causing the electron to deviate slightly from its path and rise to the top of the earth.

Suppose, a few days later, another person discovered another type of particle like this. He named this newly discovered particle Proton. He similarly operated the particle perpendicular to the direction of the magnetic field exactly as in the previous experiment.

Coincidentally, in the case of this particle, he noticed a strange thing, and that is that the particle is not feeling the ball at the top of the earth as before, but is feeling the ball at the bottom of the earth and deviates from its path and is leaning towards the earth.

What is the proof?

These two types of particles contain "one thing" that is fundamentally opposite to the other.

That is why in the same test, despite all the conditions being unchanged, one is going up, and the other is going down. In other words, one is feeling the ball at the top, and the other at the bottom.

Let's go to philosophy.

The fact is that no one knows what this "one thing" is. But everyone is convinced that when electrons and protons are born, they are born with this "thing". This is one of the characteristics that makes them show the opposite religious behavior in any magnetic field.

But no one knows what this feature actually is.

We can name this property of the electron 'p'.

And we can name the properties of protons as 'q'.

Well, how do you do one thing? We saw a little earlier that in our experiment the electron is going upwards and the protons are going downwards, so we can hold the upside down and the downside up. We could have caught the opposite in that case, that's how we explained their motion. From the beginning, if people had named your device "Aiyas" instead of "Mobile", today people all over the world would have known your mobile phone as "Aiyas", and called it by this name. In fact, the name of a thing is not a matter, the name is just a way to distinguish that thing.

If you consider money income to be positive, you can consider money expenditure to be negative. Because, expenditure is the opposite of income.

In the same way, if you think income is negative, then spending is positive.

In fact, it is entirely up to us to decide whether to consider it positive or negative.

The key is not the positive-negative key, but the key # attribute of a thing we are referring to by these terms.

Since we have taken the upper side as negative, we call the invisible property of the electron responsible for lifting it upwards a "negative charge." In other words, the charge of an electron carries a negative charge or the electron carries a negative charge.

Since the proton is descending, and the bottom we hold positive, we can call the invisible property of the proton responsible for lowering it "positive charge."

So now we can no longer use the previous "p" and "q" to hold the charge of protons and electrons positive and negative, respectively. What is the reason for such a catch? There is no special reason, we want to make our life as simple as possible, hence such naming. In many cases it has the advantage of revealing the properties created by the charge on an atom.

Let's come to the quarks.

We now all know that protons and neutrons are not elementary particles, breaking them down we get the smallest particles of quarks.

The quarks are further divided into three categories: (i) red, (ii) green and (iii) blue.

Do these indicate their color?

Not at all.

These are actually the same as the charge of electrons and protons

Indicates their different basic properties so that each type of quark exhibits a different type of character.
