Text: Psalm 84:11
And it says " For the Lord God is a Sun and a Shield: the Lord will give grace and glory, NO good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly"
A lot of people in this works, even we so called Christians tend to say this passage with so much enthusiasm and courage in our heart and with anticipation to receive nightly from God without wanting to sacrifice or pay a price. Many Christians don't want to suffer for Christ, they only want to dominate and prosper.
Okay, let's look at it this way or from this point of view. Now tell me, what do you think or feel will happen to someone who has an upcoming exam and still does not want to read? I have seen cases where a day to an exam, a student is partying in school and still does not want to read OR even revise his books. What can you imagine will happen at the end? It is so obvious that failure is the faith of such a person provided that he or she does not cheat in the examination hall on order to pass. Many of us feel so much attract success but we do not want to think or worry ourselves of the price people pay to attain these successes. Success is not found on a platter of Gold, you work for it! That's the price!. This same process occurs in our Christian life. God's blessings are not for lazy people. You need to work it out. Nothing great comes easy, there must be a work somewhere propelling that greatness. Always remember that there is a price and its either you pay the price or someone pays it on your behalf. Even ritualist and occult men are fully aware of this process and that is why they end up sacrificing people (which is the price) in order to become rich.
So the question is, as Christians, what price are we to pay in order to receive special blessings from God? Remember that Peter left his profession and followed Jesus Christ (that was a price). How many of us can leave our jobs to follow Jesus? How many? Can you? Can I? Do not be so quick to remember that our bible text says that 'no good thing will he withhold from them that walk upright'. This means that walking upright is the price. Even Zacchaeus left all his wealth and pprofession just to follow Jesus Christ. Our heavenly Father is ready to answer your prayers provided you pay the price of being obedient, responsible, faithful, Holy etc. God loves a good worshipper, regular study of His word and a servant leader.
For Christians to be relevant, laziness should not be amongst our options. God doesn't like laziness and he's a rewarder of those that deligently seek Him. And I pray for you reading this that as you seek Him deligently, He will reward you handsomely. Amen. Having read all these, will you change your ways? Will you stop being lazy towards God's work? My advice as a brother is that you should follow Christ. Let People see His love and light in you. Evangelism is not only when you preach to people.
It also shows from your actions or behavior towards people. So how do you treat people in your neighborhood? Are you good to them even when they do bad to you? This is part of the price we have been talking about. Change the way you treat people, especially people you think you can't gain from. People are watching you always even when you think that you are all alone doing whatever you want, God watches.
So my plea is that we should pay the price as Christians and hence, receive God's abundant reward.
Let us pray now....
Good & Powerful Prayers...
1. Pray for God's mercy upon you
2. Pray for direction from the Lord
3. Pray against every spirit of laziness and ask the Lord for His mighty and abundant strength as you run this spiritual race.
Remain good and grateful today. See you tomorrow. Bye for now.....

Without proper planning, nothing good comes out of our doings. Remember that if we do not plan, then we plan to fail.. so not planning is already a way of planning to be a failure in life. So simple
