If you read something and forget it when the time is right, today's article is exclusively for you. There are some ways to remember something right away. If you know these ways, you will be able to remember something for a long time. If you know the right way or method to remember something, you too can remember something for a long time.
Just as our mobile phone has two storages, internal storage and external storage, so too our brain has two storages, one is long term memory and the other is short term memory. Our short term memory stores things we don't need for long, such as watching a red car on the road. And the second is long term memory. Long term memory stores the things we need for a long time and those things we never forget and our long term memory stores things that are completely different or Our brain experiences things for the first time. For example, if you have ever been to Hajj, you will never forget.
Now the problem is that everything we remember goes into our short term memory which the short term memory erases after a while. First of all, when you memorize something with no focus, it will never go into your long term memory. As long as it stays in your short term memory it will remember you very well but when it flies away from short term memory it will never be remembered again. Then you will forget it at once.
Now, here are some tips to help you get the most out of your long term memory:
1st Trick:
The first trick is to read aloud. Whatever you read, read aloud. Now some of you will say we already read aloud but we don't remember so yes it is true that most of us read aloud but we still don't remember things We don't remember our school work. The key is to let your voice go into your right ear by speaking loudly. You can put your hand over your mouth and whatever you read will go into your right ear because according to a scientist's study the things in our right ear They remember us for a long time. Our right ear is connected to our long term memory.
Maybe that is why when a child is born in a Muslim's house, the call to prayer is given in his ear.
2nd Trick:
The second trick is to try to make what you are remembering more unique. You can use different colored highlighters to make anything unique. Paint the first three lines of any of your paragraphs with a yellow highlighter and the next three with a red highlighter and the next lines with a green highlighter so that when you read So your brain will find something unique and it will try to remember it quickly.
Now imagine if you go to a park every day there are a lot of black dogs. One day when you went there, there was a white dog among many black dogs, so will he forget you who was a white dog among these black dogs?
That white dog will never forget you.
In the same way, the unique things that are different things go away more quickly in our long term memory. So try to make any topic as unique as possible. You can make it physically unique and even while reading.
3rd Trick:
The third trick is to teach yourself that our brain does not send anything into our long term memory that is not clear. If a topic is completely clear inside your brain then it will go into your long term memory. And if you have memorized with no focus it they are not completely clear then it will stay in your short term memory. And after a while it will end there.
Any of our topics is clear when we teach someone. Now you have no one to teach you, but you will be there. So start explaining to yourself what you have read and what you have understood. Doing so increases the chances that the thing will go into your long term memory.
