The animal I will tell you about today cannot climb trees. This animal moves exclusively on the ground. The name of this animal is Skunk.
According to the law of the jungle, the one who is brave wins and the weak one is killed. The skunk is one of the smallest animals found in the jungles of the United States, but its defensive prowess makes it even more daring. You all know that upside down food causes gas in the stomach but it feels very bad when left. But the skunk has the same power and its stench can kill anyone.
In case of danger, they release a yellow liquid. If a person or animal sniffs it, it causes vomiting, headache, dizziness and fainting. Even death can occur. Its stench is more deadly than that of a dead animal. If this yellow liquid falls on the body of an animal, its stench does not go away for three to four days.
The animal is native to the United States and southern Canada. It is commonly found in countries such as Argentina, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Jelly. This animal can climb up to 1800 meters above sea level. Some species can climb up to 4000 meters. Skunk life is a forest or grassland, mostly near rivers, bushes on rocky slopes and shores as these are their favorite places. They live near human settlements.
This animal builds its home by collecting dry leaves and grass before it becomes a hybrid in winter. The question often arises as to whether we can keep this animal as a pet. So this animal is a legal skin pet in some parts of the United States. The natural mating season of the skunk is spring and this is the season when these babies give birth. This animal is intelligent and needs constant monitoring and entertainment.
This animal is so lively that if it is kept as a pet it can open cabinets and anything else in the house. They will open your fridge and take the food in the fridge where they will go. These animals are also known for making bedding and making things like blankets. Even if you provide them with a soft bed, their sleeping schedule can be quite different. In the forest, they are usually active in the evening and in the morning.
However, when humans gather around it, it can be very dangerous for their own survival. They will dig into the carpets and floors of your home and can even scratch the furniture. Excavation is fun for them, especially if they don't have enough toys to play with. So they often look for ways to do this. It is a social animal but not compatible with human communication.
Finding a way to communicate with a skunk can be a little tricky. Although cats and dogs can be easily tamed, this is not the case with skunk. They are silent animals even though they make noise to express their emotions. When they feel threatened, they bite. No vaccines are available for skunk bites.
This animal eats food several times a day. Younger animals need to eat more than adults. They need lean protein. Eggs, fish, insects, as well as vegetables can be their most desirable food. They can also eat fruits and nuts. This animal goes hunting at night, its vision is weak during the day, so at night it uses its hearing and its scent. It digs the ground with its nose and claws in search of insects. It also eats lizards.
This animal shows a wild disgusting stench that is very annoying to humans and also to many animals. It has a strong weapon against enemies, which is a guarantee of its safety. This animal is about 2 to 3 years old, but it can live up to 15 years in captivity.
