The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has launched an investigation after it was discovered that the original African Cup of Nations trophy had been stolen.
Egypt won the trophy after winning it in 2010, when they won the tournament three times in a row, in 2006, 2008 and 2010.
The missing cup, the first of its kind was first offered in 2002.
Following the attack on the Egyptian Football Federation in 2013, several cups the country once won have been turned into a locked warehouse.
How the cup is missing
The Egyptian Football Federation has recently decided to renovate its headquarters.
Renovations will be made to provide a venue for the exhibition of cups that the team has won in various competitions the country has attended.
Suddenly, the officers noticed that the coffee had gone astray as they checked it into the country's winning cups.
Officials also found that some of the silver that the country had eaten in the past had also been lost
