Most discussion among the youths today is love.
The younger generation offer different explanations of love. To some, it is sex. This is because seciety has failed to provide them with the correct explanation or the essence of love.
Also, the availability of information from wrong sources on the meaning of love has not helped matters. Against this background, when the word love is mentioned, what comes to the minds of the younger one is sex or sexual activities especially among the students of tertiary institutions. This explains why many males will tell the females especially the unmarried, "if you love me, let us make love or have sexual intercourse". However, love is different from sex or sexual relationship (which is common among the youths today). And of course, sex can be part of love among the married not the unmarried.
Then, what is love?
Love simply means having deep and warm feelings about oneself and others. It entails that you love yourself before you can love others. It is all about happiness and responsibilities towards one and others. Love usually refers to interpersonal love, an experience felt by a person for another person. Love often involves caring for or identifying with a person or thing. The opposite of love is hatred.

I belong to infatuation love. Emotions and feelings fluctuate in this relationship and very often, such cannot stand the test of time. Of course, the fact that emotion and feeling control this type of love, sexual desire is the ultimate and it could end easily. The cases of broken relationships or hearts are out of this infatuation (love). Youths are victims of this type of love as they are more attracted to physical appearance especially the males who are moved by physical appearance or sight. I belong to this type of love
