As I was exploring my GCash account, I accidentally clicked the Save Money with the piggy bank icon.

I explored it and it took me a while that it was connected to CIMB Bank. Since I was looking for saving account, I tried to open my savings account using GCash thru CIMB Bank.

I’ve research on what is the minimum deposit and it was stated that there is no initial deposit required and there is no maintaining balance required to sustain the account.

I tried my P1.26 GCash balance to transfer to CIMB Bank savings account, and within just less than a minute, it was being reflected in the balance without deduction.

I was amazed by the fact that there are still bank where you can save without deposit or outstanding balance to be deposited just to open one.

It was also stated that you can avail the card of CIMB Bank once it reaches to P100,000.00 and it was okay because it will really help you save and that you have to put in mind that you will have a goal to reach that amount.

CIMB Bank has 2.5% annual interest rate. Isn’t it amazing? The bigger the amount that you will deposit to your account, the higher that you will gain in the future by just opening a savings account.

P.S: Your savings can be withdrawn anytime for paying your bill, buying load, etc.
