The national flag represents a country. Our national flag is a symbol of our head and sovereignty. It is very nice to see our national flag. It is quadrangular in shape. Its length and delivery ratio is 10 : 6. It is made of red and green cloth. The color of our national flag is very significant. The green part of the flag symbolizes the green field of the country and the round red color in the middle symbolizes the blood of the martyrs killed in the war of liberation. Our national flag reminds us of the sacrifices of the martyrs. We have earned our national flag in exchange for the blood of three million martyrs. The national flag is hoisted in front of schools, colleges and offices-courts on all days except holidays. The national flag is hoisted at half-mast on the National Shake Day on 21st February. The national flag is dearer to us than life. The national flag gives the nation motivation and courage in the struggle for life. When we see the national flag fluttering, we are overwhelmed with joy and emotion. Our minds are filled with love for the country. We should uphold the dignity of the national flag. We will show due respect to the national flag only if we are motivated by the ideals of patriotism and perform our duties properly.
