A village market is a place where villagers meet to buy and sell things. It is useful buying and selling centre for the villagers.
There are two kinds of village market. Many of them sit once or twice a week. They are called periodic markets or hats. Again big and rich villagers have daily markets. These are called bazars.
A village market generally held at an open place on the outskirts of a village by the side of a river or a canal or a road. The daily market is held in the forenoon and the periodic market or hat is held once or twice a week in the afternoon.
Fish, milk, vegetables, rice, eggs, poultry and home made things are generally cheaper in a village market because these are available in village. Clothes, shoes, suitcase and other fancy goods dearer because they are brought from towns. Fish and betel leaves have the largest sele here.
The village market is of great us for villagers. It saves them from the hawkers who sell articles at very high price. Me and my father go to market everyday. We buy many things. Example: rice, vegetables, fruits, poultry etc. We buy many kinds of vegetables. Vegetable good for health. So I it vegetable everyday. Vegetable give us protein and many vitamins and these vitamin help to feet our body. So I advise everyone to eat fresh food.
And one day me and my father going to village market to buy clothes. There are many clothes and I like this clothes and I buy a cloth for me. This clothes are very charming and beautiful because they brought this clothes from towns. Clothes price high because they brought from town.
The village market does great service to the rural people. It has social value as the meeting place of friends and relations of the village people. They also get news and views from here.
The Village market is best. I saw every villagers gathering in market and buy there daily foods. Very important think is fresh. Example:
