There was a girl who was upset with herself because she was blind. She was annoyed with everyone except her boyfriend who was always by her side to help her. He always wished he could see.
She told her boyfriend that if he could just see, he would marry her right away.
One day, someone donated eyes for her. The surgery was immediately done and a successful eye transplant was performed. When the bandage was removed and she could see the world, she immediately saw her boyfriend.
He asked her: “Now that you can see, will we get married ?”
When she saw that her boyfriend was also blind, her temper suddenly changed, she no longer wanted to marry him. She couldn’t imagine herself taking care of him for the rest of her life. Her boyfriend burst into tears and just walked away from her.
After a few days he sent a letter to his girlfriend saying: “Please, take care of my eyes my dear”
LESSON: SOMETIMES WE CHANGE OUR MINDSET WHEN OUR SITUATION CHANGES.
Few will remember what their life was like before, and who was always there to help them with their needs during their hardships.
Our lives are a gift and we should be thankful for.

Before we say hurtful words, think of someone who is dumb and unable to speak.
Before we complain that our food is tasteless, think of those who have not even eaten.
Before we complain about our wife or husband, think of those who are crying out asking God to give her a companion.
May we be grateful no matter how small or large what we receive.
