Travel and Experience Cebu
July 18, 2022 MondayI love to travel and see places. Thus living more than half of my life here in Cebu makes me love to roam around.
I am a grown up from Mindanao but I live more than half of my life here in Cebu. Cebu is named as the Queen City of the South where many local tourist and foreign tourist loves to travel and visit here. Well, it is indeed a full house of tourist destinations and attractions worth visiting.
I have visited some tourist destinations here in Cebu with my friends wayback then. I love those places and thia time around I would like to revisit those together with my family and also travel to places I have never been. Because of a never ending list of destinations in Cebu, I make a list to the places I want to visit again
Simala Church
Together with my friends and colleagues, we visit this place once in a while to offer our intentions in life. Looking how this place transform and expand beautifully, many tourist loves to visit here and pray.
Taoist Temple
When I was in College, we travel here in Cebu to have a field trip and visit this temple. Then when I got to live here, me and my friends also visits this place. And I love to revisit this place again with my family. I want my kids to see such attractions that they just saw on TV or internet.
Temple of Leah
Many of my friends have gone to this place while I haven't yet. Yes, hearing more about this place makes me too curious to visit then. Because most of my friends have visited here and seeing the place makes you feel you are abroad.
Bantayan Island
Cebu is known to its lovely white beaches and a personal favorite of mine is here. Bantayan Island is a long travel from my place though the white beaches eases your body to feel relax and definitely will enjoy your stay. I visites this island for a day with some friends and in a short time, I wanna go back to enjoy again with family. I want my kids to enjoy the white sands and crystal waters as they enjoyed.
Malapascua Island
An island with white beaches too. We visit this island with a group of friends. We stayed there for 2 days and the experience is one of a kind. We miss those days and that circle of friends wayback that we hang out around. This island was so small and called wayback then as little Boracay. I am wondering now, how this island looks like. Perhaps we can travel even just a day to visit this island.
Basilica Minore Del Sto. Niño de Cebu
This is the last time we visit this place before the pandemic. We wantes to visit again here but considering the budget, the transportations makes it more expensive. Well, if you are just in Cebu City, no need to hurry home because this church is within your reach.
When you are in Cebu, you will miss half of your life if you are not coming to see this church. The yearly festival Sinulog also features the Sr. Sto. Niño in this Basilica. A day you can visit this place with a lots of tourist locally and internationaly
Closing Thoughts
The list I have shared here seems just a few though these places are worth keeping for. Traveling and having to experience what Cebu in store is one of kind. Here you can always find your way and relax after having some injury then. We have all the time, so lets embrace what we have before the dawn breaks and cherish Cebu more for a lifetime memories it brings.
