My Deliberate Quotes

I only have a little rest today so I am still a bit dizzy working tonight. I tried to draft too some article but could not finish because of some matters need to priority. So I thought I will just skip publishing an article today. But here at work earlier, while I am browsing some of files, I saw some excellent quotes by Warren Buffet. It is really something to ponder and I am sharing it here.

On Earning:

" Never depend on single income. Make investment to create a second source. "

Most of us nowadays do not depend on having a single income that is why we do side hustle. At first we are to be employed and earn some income. However to have the chance to have some hustle for additional income is a must. Why I say so? Because as an employee we only depends on the paid salary the employer gave during paydays. Anytime if our salary runs out, at least having another income won't left us with an empty stomach.

On Spending:

" If you buy things you do not need, soon you will have to sell things you need. "

Before people who a lot of shopping are those who literally have more money in their banks and rich ones. But as time changes and online services are easy to access, many are doing online shopping. Many are tempted as it advertises more tempting events to get more clients.

However, do you order online just because you like it or is it because you need that item? Buying online with less payment is still big when accumulated. Thus others buy this and buy that during online sale and end up with an empty wallet. Of course, not all online shoppers are shopping without importance and value. Its just that when you want to buy something, think many times if you really needed it or not. Because I truly believe that if we keep spending on the things that we do not need, we will end up selling the things we need just to survive a day or two.

On Savings:

" Do not save what is left after spending, but spend what is left after saving. "

Spending with the things that are not important is quite a problem. Many wants to save but after many years it remains a plan. Wanna know why? People spend too much and tend to save what was left without realizing that the money he or she wants to save will still be needed due to insufficiency. So what was left on our money for savings are the money we can spend since its extra already.

On Taking Risk:

" Never test the depth of river with both the feet. "

When you want to test something, make sure to be more extra careful in everything. Just like in life, taking risk in some decisions in life needs to be weighed in. You should take the risk using your mind and heart not just either of the two or it will surely knock you out.

On Investment:

" Do not put all eggs in one basket. "

Exactly, when you do invest, do some research and do not put all your money in one investment. Make sure to invest the money you can lose. I mean, many networking and pyramiding schemes, I know some friends who lost all their money because they invest it in those schemes. Here in the Philippines, many are victims of those investment scam and went broke. So think twice before putting all your eggs in one basket.

On Expectations:

" Honesty is very expensive gift. Do not expect it from cheap people. "

Of course, expect less in everything in life. Why? Because if we expect too much, it will just broke our heart if it turns out not what we expect to happen. Just like someone being true to you and honest with you. All can tell that they are honest and true though only a few can justify how genuine they are.

Closing Thoughts

Warren Buffet's quotes are truly something to put in mind and applied in our lives. Because by just reading it, we realize those things in life that we need to improve to be better someday. Do you agree with me?
