Here in our country, school break will end tomorrow. Since everybody will be back to school again on Monday including my children.

The enrollment was long before but until yesterday we never heard about my children's new section and adviser. To my Grade 9 student, their old teacher just inform that it will be inform through their groupchat wayback in Grade 8. So we are checking the messenger and a new adviser already say hello and inform to send later the schedule of face-to-face classes and list of students each set. But when the teacher send it, no name of our daughter. We ask why her name was not their but no reply as the teacher is not online anymore. Other students also ask because their names too were not on the list. Meanwhile, we message her old teacher and inform that our daughter waa enrolled under that new teacher so we better keep in touch with her. Though afternoon came and not a single answer was seen in the groupchat. Hubby was a bit angry already because why they cannot provide the list and schedule earlier so the student will not crowd the school on Monday looking for their sections and schedules.

Common problems here is lack of communications and dissemination of information is always delayed.

Also my son who will be Grade 4 this year never knew his schedule and new teacher yet. Earlier we ask his old teacher too. She said they will post it outside in every classroom. Since we are just walking distance near the school, we ask if we can check the school today to see the schedule. She said much better, so we will know in advance if my son will be in the morning or afternoon class. Checking the time as it is already 4 in the afternoon, we hurriedly check the school classrooms. However, we go home in dismay. Some classrooms only have posted while most of the other classrooms have no post on the list of students. Oh, is this still our problem nowadays?

Long before pandemic, much better we know in advance the classroom before the classes start but now no more. Why? Do we have to go all to school on Monday and made a crowd roaming around the school? I thought we need to control the crowd and keep some distance and still follow health protocols. Though having this kind of situation now, it seems the scenario on Monday needs more concern.

It's already evening and thank God we receive a message from the teacher. Though we have another problem now, the teacher inform that she only encoded those with documents like card and enrollment form. We told her that we do submitted the card attached with the enrollment form. Then she asked when did we enroll our daughter, and she replied again that she will check again the records on Monday. Really? We have to wait again? But we do not have a choice so we just have to wait then.

Lastly, we really do not want to have some headaches on the first day of school though it cannot be avoided. Now we just hope that everything will turn out to be okay on Monday because hubby really have a little patience about this kind of situation. Much better I am available on Monday to accompany my children. Because my children are already excited to attend classes yet now we never know if they are really officially enrolled. So let us just cross our fingers for Monday.
