Africa is the most intellectual race in the world. There is no point, however, in searching for facts because the Western world will provide none. But, an individual who objectively reasons will find this logical- that, Africa is the seat of intelligence.

Although this is so, Africa remains the most undeveloped continent in the world due to unharnessed human mental resources. The secret behind to Western world is the proper and effective use of Information and Communication Technology.

It is a well-known fact that Institutions of education are roadways to building and developing intellectual abilities and knowledge therefore, Information and Communication Technology performs a very vital role in effective teaching and learning.

Of all the common and relevant Information and Communication Technology, the internet and interactive boards are most frequently used in schools and educational institutions.

The internet is a means of getting revised and ascertained information. Many people do not believe facts unless they have checked it through on Google. Teachers do not need to rely on textbooks with half the knowledge to teach. The internet also makes it easier to pinpoint a particular topic and get information from it. It truncates the stress teachers and lecturers face in research and teaching. The workload and pressure of browsing e-textbooks and manual notes(which is on its own a bigger problem) is reduced. Of what use is a five-inch thick textbook when a 0.4 inch thick Android is available? Definitely, the Information and Communication Technology plays an important role in making teaching easier, faster, more reliable e more believable.

The internet makes learning better and more effective. Students do not rely on half baked or unqualified teachers anymore. Lamentation from failure is impossible ad a result of the internet and e-libraries which makes students able to study even in the comfort of their homes.

The internet lauds its achievements by being the major and yet only successful human means that has tackled to the barest limits, the problems the educational sector in every country has been challenged with (Problems of education and the internet as an effective way of solving it)

On the other hand, the interactive board is an electronic and computerized board used to teach students. Unlike a teacher who browses or researches topics on his own and thereafter teaches his students l, the interactive board provides an opportunity for the students to interact by researching together under the supervision of a learned teacher. Using a board that is a computer enhances the students' knowledge far wider than writing on a black or whiteboard can. Psychologically wise, interaction and collective learning through team research as opposed to individuality is the most effective learning methodology. ( Interaction and collective work as a method of teaching.) If this is not so, why else will practicals, excursions, and interactive classes be globally advised than an indoor, theoretical, dictatorial, and single-handed teaching?

Seeing is believing just as being sure of a fact is the surety and certainty of not forgetting.

The employment of ICT in schools and colleges had been the catalyst for the intellectual development of the Western world. Therefore, ICT has played a positive role in ensuring the effectiveness of universal teaching and learning. An educational system that makes use of research, observation, and compilation of facts in combined teaching and learning makes education truly worthwhile.
