DON'T use toothpaste to try and tighten the vagina
A lot of women out there are willing to go to go as far as possible in attempt to attain a "perfect" genital. With all the already bizarre DIY methods they can attempt to attain that, another emerges - applying toothpaste on the vulva and into the vagina in attempt to tighten it. **Unsurprisingly, doctors have issued a pretty simple warning to women not to do it - as it's a nasty idea and could do some nasty damage.**
The use of dental products in attempt to tighten the vagina is a myth! Toothpaste should never go into the genitals. **Why would some women put toothpaste into their vagina, you may ask?** Well, there are lots of self-acclaimed health tippers, tweets and DIY articles on the internet which claim that toothpaste can be used to produce a tightening effect on the vagina - this tightness will in turn increase the sexual pleasure experienced by their male partners during sex. Many also have claimed and as much believe that toothpaste can clean the vagina, making it smell nice and taste minty fresh.
**Applying toothpaste is definitely a bad idea - a very bad one for many reasons**. For starters, applying dental products to the genitals definitely will not tighten the vagina. But, apart from causing you pain, and discomfort, it cause also cause more serious damages which could lead to vagina infections. A consultant gynecologist for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Vanessa Mackay, has debunked the claim that the dental product can tighten the vagina. It is a myth and applying it on the vulva or into the vagina would be uncomfortable and painful. It could also cause serious damage and disrupt the natural flora of the vagina - leading to the potential for infections like thrush and bacterial vaginosis. Also, some kinds of toothpaste contain thin particles that could cause painful abrasions to the walls of the vaginal. Dr Oluwole Yusuf, a Nigerian medical doctor, said he had noticed a "recent obsession" in women on the state of their genitals. With many of them resorting to applying toothpaste to into their vagina in attempt to tighten it up. He also went as far as stating that applying it to the vagina could lead to infertility. *When the vagina can no longer protect itself, the body is prone to infections which could later destroy the tubes and block the chances of getting pregnant.* He urged women to be confident in their own body and not to people or their partners "body shame" them. **There are safer alternatives.** Dr Yusuf said there are exercises or practices like kegel and Yoga, that women can try out to slowly tighten the vagina instead of indulging in harmful practices like the use of toothpaste.
Dr Vanessa Mackay also recommended pelvic floor exercises to tighten the muscle of the pelvic floor for women concerned about the tightness of their vagina.

Putting toothpaste in the vagina? Never tried it hahaha. Toothpaste is for the teeth so why used it in the vagina. But the PH Care mint green, I think it's like a toothpaste when you put it.
