Read.cash POINTified?
Yes! Pointified is not an English word, I just made it up. The focus should be on the **point** aspect of the word. Last night I logged in to read.cash after some days of inactivity due to the reasons I stated in my previous article. The first two articles on my home page were about points. When I scrolled down to about the tenth homepage articles, I found three more. That's five out of the first ten homepage articles were about points. I won't be surprised to see more if I kept scrolling. https://read.cash/@Macronald/what-have-i-missed-b157d159 **What is happening? Has read.cash be "pointified"?** Most of the writers were celebrating earning new high total points. I understand the joy and all, and I'm sincerely happy for them and I would have probably done the same, If I had achieved such a feat sometime ago. But like a friend would say, ***is that why we are here?*** I also got this from @Jane 's post Yesterday, many complained about the point system. Many gets zero to low points for the entire day even if the user posted articles while some claimed that they’ve got good points through giving positive comments to random articles. Some even didn't get points at all for the whole week. Some were celebrating earning huge points while many complained of no, low or frozen points. The part that caught my attention most was this: *User for 5 hours yet got 49 subscribers and a payment of $0.21 without even posting articles.* How did he or she do that? Well, we can't ask for more points and expect a higher point price, because the total points earned daily is inversely proposal to point price. The more total points people earn daily, the less the point price.

When i just got here in readcash, i am also after my points and subscribers but as the days go by, one must learn that we only not here in readcash to earn points but to share knowledge and ideas as well. As to those having large number of points, i envy them sometimes, and for those who has low points i felt pity on them. But all in all i am just doing my part...
you nailed it
The thing is, most users here especially the newbies are so after their points that most of them only want to read points related articles. This is justified by the fact that most of the articles featured on the home page are those who talks about points 😑
