One night incident of ottoman Sultan Murad
Sultan Murad was lying in bed one night, seeing his breath coming out. I don't understand why it feels so restless. In this situation, he called the security guard. As a king, Sultan Murad had a habit of changing clothes and inquiring about his subjects. As such, he told them to come and spend some time in the crowd. On the way we reached a corner of the city. He went there and saw a man lying on the ground. Seeing this situation, Sultan Murad shook the fallen man. The man is dead. And a lot of people are coming and going across the side of the man. But no one is even touching the man. Sultan Murad called the people and said, "Brother, come here." People came together; But they did not recognize the Sultan. The Sultan asked, "Brother Kiri, the man is lying dead like this. You see, why is no one picking up the man?" Let's pick him up and take him to his house.
Then people say, this man is a great sinner. Then Sultan Murad said, "Brother, even though he is a sinner, isn't he a servant of Allah?" Is he not a follower of my prophet? Let's pick him up and come to his house. The people were impressed by the Sultan's words and delivered the body to the heir. When he got home, his wife wept bitterly over the body, and the people left. Sultan Murad and the security guards stood and watched the woman cry. Weeping, the woman said, "I swear by Allah, you are indeed the saints of Allah and the righteous servants."
Sultan Murad was surprised to hear this. The woman asked, how is this possible? People are testifying that the man is a great sinner. No one is even touching her body. Then the man's wife said, I agree with this man as well. But the reality is different. The fact is that my husband used to go to the liquor store every night. He used to buy wine with whatever money he had in his pocket. He would bring the wine home and pour it out. And he used to say, look, I have been able to reduce the burden of sins of some Muslims.
Similarly, he used to go to the inn every night and bring a prostitute. And he used to keep that prostitute in the room by earning one night. And he would close the door of that room and say that no one should come to you. And he would come home and say, thank God, today I was able to lighten the burden of this girl and a young Muslim.
And people thought he was a big sinner when he saw them coming and going. I also told him, remember that on the day you die, no one will bathe you,
