Copied without Credits: Opera News responds
I want to inform us all that the Opera News Support team has responded to the complaint of plagiarized content being posted on their platform. They requested that an email be sent to operanews@operanewsapp.com with the following guidelines as shown in the screenshots below:
*Title of E-mail: Plagiarised Content *Body of email should contain links to the original article and the plagiarized article *Screenshots of the original and plagiarised article *State what you want done: For the source to be credited or the article deleted All authors who are interested in curbing their articles being plagiarized from this platform to Opera News can follow this format to make their complaint. Hopefully they will take appropriate action once they receive the complaints. Plz @Jane @esciisc and others mentioned in the previous post on this subject matter should take note. To the culprit, it appears you do not want to stop. Please take heed and do the decent thing while you still have the chance to do so as your identity on read.cash will surely be revealed as we are getting close to doing so. It is only a matter of time. I am so happy you reported the incident and the opera news responded. Plagiarism is a serious crime even though some people act nonchalant towards that most times. The affected individuals should state what they want now but If I am in their shoes I will request for credit/ recognition because that will help their blogging and moreover the article has gone online, many have it now. so it's no need deleting it
@Ladyv28 you have made a very sound argument for opting for proper credits or recognition.
I knew opera will react and delete story and warn user.
A very large number of content is published every day, unfortunately plagiarists will always use other people's things to publish them as their own, which is unfortunately inevitable. I know how much anger it can cause when you see that you have been copied, I have had such a situation with my product in real life.
It is quite an unfortunate act for anyone to engage in. It doesn't speak well of their intellectual capacity and creativity.
This is quite bad. Authors needs to be given credit to their works

I am currently working on lead in that direction. I just want to hold on a little to confirm . Once I do I will mail read.cash support with my evidence and hopefully the needful will be done to the plagiarizer .
This is really alarming. Although it's always happening in all blogging sites, but at least give credits to the real authors.. good thing that they replied to your email.
