Elon Musk is a well-known entrepreneur and business magnate, born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa. He is the founder, CEO, and chief engineer/designer of SpaceX; CEO, product architect, and co-founder of Tesla, Inc.; and CEO of Neuralink and The Boring Company.

Musk's entrepreneurial journey began in the 1990s when he co-founded Zip2, an online business directory service. After selling Zip2, Musk founded X.com, an online payment company, which later became PayPal and was acquired by eBay for $1.5 billion.

In 2002, Musk founded SpaceX with the goal of making space travel more affordable and accessible. In 2008, SpaceX became the first privately-funded company to send a spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS). Since then, SpaceX has continued to make groundbreaking advances in space exploration, including the successful launch and landing of reusable rockets and the development of the Starship spacecraft, which is intended to transport people and cargo to Mars.

In addition to his work with SpaceX, Musk is also known for his role as CEO of Tesla, Inc., a company that produces electric cars and renewable energy solutions.
