Being a Christian, is more than acknowledging the existence of the only God but more of having a relationship with Him. And in that relationship, there is communication. As Christians , that special communication platform just like social media is PRAYER. But there's more to prayer than the mere rattle of words.
I learnt one time that praying to God shows Him how much we truly love Him.
I didn't understand it because I thought, "we love God and that's why we're serving Him" but it's not just that.
Now , when you're in a relationship, you talk pretty much a lot sometimes all the time about stuff that may not make sense to others but strengthens your love for the person.
The Bible says we the church are the bride and Christ is the bridegroom and that we'regoing to be joined together.
So I think of this time as the stage when we're dating our soon to be groom. We will definitely have conversations and these conversations will not only be about us and what we need but sometimes on just how awesome our groom is . So I encourage Christians to see prayer beyond the speaking platform we underestimate it to be and to make full use of the opportunity to bond with our groom before we wed😊
